Born to Bio natural deodorant review frozen ginger

how are you? Today I would like to review Born to Bio natural deodorant. I have been looking for a good natural deodorant for a long time. If you are interested in natural cosmetics then you know how difficult it is to find a decent natural deodorant (same with natural mascara). There are many natural deodorants  on the market but they contain aluminium which I want to avoid.

We should be all concerned about our health and I am being careful what kind of things I apply under my arms. I am perfectly  aware that a natural deodorant will not offer me as good protection as a traditional deodorant. It will not prevent the sweating process because it is not its job. So what the natural deodorant should do? 
It should stop or at least reduce the growth of bacteria. In other words it should minimize the odour. In the past I have been testing many natural deodorants  but unfortunately they were rather bad: they were either too sticky  or they would not dry quick enough. 

When I spotted  products from Born to Bio company I was very happy. I have not heard about this company before and I was very curious to try some of their products so I have bought a hair conditioner and a deodorant. Deodorants are available in four different scents:  ginger, rose, vanilla or zen (fresh grass smell). I got the ginger one.

Born to Bio Deodorant in ginger contains antiperspirant essential oils and bamboo powder which is known for its antibacterial properties. I thought it would be a good product. And it was at the beginning...
At the beginning the deodorant was working great.  I would apply it in the morning and in the evening I would still feel fresh. Deodorant would dry quickly after the application so it was a real time saver. It offered a very good protection against odour but...
Everything has changed when I got ill. I started sweating differently, I mean the body started releasing toxins through skin and my body smell was different.  And that was just awful: my chemistry and the smell of ginger would not work together whatsoever. At this point I won't go into details but trust me it was a disaster. No need to say that I have stopped using Born to Bio deodorant completely. Despite all this the deodorant has many positives as well:

• absorbs quickly
• doesn't  dry the skin
• doesn't cause irritation
• doesn't stain the clothes
• aluminium-free
• alcohol free
• hypoallergenic
• it has 100% natural fragrance
• good natural ingredients

Ingredients: Aqua (Water), Pseudotsuga Menziesii (Balsam Oregon) Water*, Salvia Officinalis (Sage) Leaf Water*, Glycerin, Xanthan Gum, Benzyl Alcohol, Lauroyl Lysine, Mentha Arvensis Leaf OIil, zingiber officinale Root Oil, Cedrus Atlantica Bark Oil, Bambusa Arundinacea Stem Extract, Dehydroacetic Acid, Cymbopogon Martinii (Palmarosa) Oil*, Cupressus Aempervirens (Cypress) Oil*, Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) Leaf Oil*, Geraniol, Limonene, Linalool, Citral, Farnesol.

Because of the positives above I am still going to try the same deodorant but in different scent: vanilla or zen. I think that the ginger scent was too strong for me, maybe too masculine as well and that is why it didn't work for me but maybe it will work for you. I would say give it a try.

Keep young looking hands!Choose Urtekram No perfume Hand Soap organic.

how are you? I am writing about Urtekram No perfume Hand Soap because a good soap is a must have for everyone. During the day we wash our hands several times and it is important that we use soap that won't dry out the skin. 

Why I like this soap so much? Before I will describe its properties I will tell you that I prefer soap formulas in bottles. I think that the soap dispenser is more practical to keep in a small bathroom like mine. Solid soaps are great but they tend to melt and they make the sink messy. Second and the most important thing is that this soap doesn't dry out the skin. I wash my hands many times during the day plus I use regularly a hand disinfectant (which can be very harsh on the skin) and my hands are still in a good condition. Of course I remember about using a good moisturizer as well. I can recommend hand creams with 20% of  shea butter as they really moisturize and nourish the skin. 
But back to the Urtekram No perfume Hand Soap:). This soap is perfume free and will suit everybody, even those with sensitive skin.

how are you? Do you know Logona White Kaolin Lotus Flower Cleansing Gel? What do you think about it?.It has white kaolin (clay) and suppose to be good for cleaning the skin and the hair.

I have just bought it because I have problem with very oily scalp. Basically I need to wash my hair everyday which is sometimes frustrating, especially now during winter. I have no time to wash my hair in the morning and I don't want to use a hair drier either so I wash the hair in the evening. But the following morning my hair is only "semi fresh".
I have tried many things to prolong the freshness of the hair: different shampoos, skipping conditioner, different diets ( I would like to write a long post about later) etc. but it hasn't really changed anything.

Yesterday I bought this  and I have used it already once and to my surprise it made my kind of dirty. I mean it left the hair covered with some kind of oily film? I don't know if I have done something wrong? I mean I have washed the hair twice, I have rinsed it really well and I have even skipped the conditioner because I didn't want that something else would interfere with this clay.

I forgot to mention that this has really good and few ingredients (Aqua (Water), Kaolin, Montmorillonite, Parfum (Essential Oils), Nelumbo Nucifera Extract, Limonene) and less is more in his case:).

Aubrey Organics Silken Earth Translucent Base

It  does accentuate a bit drier parts of my face but I think most powder do. It doesn't clog my pores and does not settle in fine lines around the eyes. It evens out my skin tone and makes the pores looking less visible. The skin looks naturally matt. But what I like the most about Silken Earth Translucent Base is the light weight feel. It is something that not many powders can offer. 
On my face Silken earth looks darker, I would say more beige than porcelain but it still looks very natural.

Silken Earth Translucent Base has great cinnamon smell. This delicious smell reminds me of Christmas:). 

I apply it with Kabuki Full Coverage brush from Bare Minerals and I achieve an HD effect. It still looks like mine own skin only better.

You can use it on your whole face or on the parts which you want to highlight, like cheekbones, brow bone, cupids bow, etc. If you want to give your eyes an instant lift apply it under your brows. This is what I do, especially when I have to get up at 5.30 am and I almost look like a zombie. Sometimes I  use it on the whole face because I am a girl who likes to shine:). But being serious it gives me a brighter complexion.

The powder has natural light reflecting pigments which in my opinion aren't too obvious and you have to take a closer look to notice them.

I am always looking for a new organic hair conditioners. I have recently discovered a french company Planete Bleue and their range Born to Bio.

It all sounded great and I wanted to test some of the products. This hair conditioner was in promotion and had good ingredients so I bought it.

My experience:
unfortunately this turned out to be a huge disappointment. It basically does nothing to my hair. It doesn't moisture the hair, it doesn't repair it and certainly it does not detangle as claimed. After application I actually have to use another conditioner. Shame because I am happy with their another product which is a ginger deodorant. 
The conditioner has quite thick consistency and nice nutty smell.
And because of that I started using it as a base product for my own hair mixtures.I use it in combination with a with a flax seed or castor oil and it works ok.

Physician's Formula, Organic Wear, 2-in-1 Bronzer & Blush in light brown and pink rose is the only bronzer I actually like. Mainly because I am just not a big fan of bronzers. I like my skin as it is-pale but being a woman I always want to try something new. For a long time I was considering what type of bronzer I should have. Mainly because warm colours don't really complement my fair complexion. But I was  determent to buy a bronzer and I chose Physician's Formula, Organic Wear, 2-in-1 Bronze & Blush. Luckily it seems to be suitable:).

My opinion:

Physician's Formula, Organic Wear, 2-in-1 Bronzer & Blush is really nice. The colours  are nicely combined and work well together. They have have cool undertone and this is very important for me.

Before blending, I have applied a lot of product that you could see the colours better

They aren't very pigmented and give subtle and natural finish. No clown effect:). 

After blending, as you can see colours are sheer

I think this product suits fair complexion very well. The staying power is moderate. 

The packaging is very cute, it has two sides: one with the bronzer and blusher and another with the mirror.

This product has very good ingredients as well and is cruelty free.

today I would like to review an organic No Perfume body lotion  by Urtekram which is a danish company producing natural and organic products for the hair and body. They don't test on animals.

My opinion:
I like this body lotion very much. It leaves the skin moisturized and nourished. This effect lasts very long. I would even say that the balm generally improves skin texture when used over an extended period of time. I find it very important, especially now in the winter when the air indoors is dry because of the heating.
The lotion has thick and rich consistency so it takes a while to absorb fully. If you are in a hurry in the mornings maybe it would be better to choose a different product. The balm is not oily so it will not stain the clothes.

The only downside is its smell. It is no perfume body lotion but still it has some kind of smell which is rather unpleasant for me. I cannot describe the smell but I don't like it. Good that it is not strong and doesn't linger on the skin. I can just put clothes on and forget about it.
Overall, it would be a great balm if not the smell. Then, again , we are all different and what doesn't suit me may suit others. I would say give it a try, especially that the price is reasonable- 5.99 €. For an organic body balm it is a really good price:).

today I am reviewing a Natural Trio Blush "Fall in Love" by Benecos which is another German company producing natural cosmetics. For those of you who don't know the company I will quote some info from the producer's site.

Now I will describe for you the product:
Benecos Natural Trio Blush, Fall in love blusher consists of three perfectly matched shades: brighter pink, champagne pink and deeper pink which looks very dark but in fact is very little pigmented and not too visible. Natural brighter pink gives the skin a healthy glow, champagne pink is perfect for highlighting and deeper pink  can be used for contouring.  Colours have cool undertone and will suit  a summer woman type.

How to use it:

just mix three shades together and your complexion will look instantly fresher and more radiant. It will give you healthy and natural glow. It also will look very natural, you can achieve no makeup look. You can also use champagne pink under your eyebrows (it will give you an instant lift) and/or the darkest shade for contouring your face.

Consistency:
It is very silky, easy to blend and easy to apply. I think it would be difficult to achieve a "clown" look:).

Colours are sheer but I have applied a lot of product on my fingers

I have been using this Badger'a balm mainly under eyes area and for the hands and it works wonders. The skin is smooth, nourished and moisturized. It smells divine (a romantic smell of roses) that I would like to sniff it all the time. The balm is a multipurpose product and it can be used for face, feet, neck, hands, everywhere where the skin is dry and needs an extra boost. The product doesn't cause allergic reactions, doesn't clog the pores. It is very long lasting.

Because it contains oils it is a bit greasy so better to use it as a night treatment.
